APPEAL RAISES OVER £1K TO HELP HOMELESS DURING COVID

APPEAL RAISES OVER £1K TO HELP HOMELESS DURING COVID

Our appeal to raise money for meals, toiletries and other essential items to help customers self-isolate safety has raised over £1000.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we’ve supported over 450 people affected by homelessness to get into a safe place to live, including working with the Holiday Inn to provide hotel rooms to help people self-isolate.

With your help, we’ve also provided thousands of meals to customers in the community, essential items, such as medication, toiletries and mobile phones.

Christina Hunter, Fundraising Manager at Concrete said: “So many people have come together to support our Concrete Appeal during this difficult time and given £3 or more to ensure we can provide a hot meal and a safe place to stay to those who need us.

“We could not have done this without our supporters, and we cannot thank them enough for being there at this time especially.”
