At Concrete, we work with customers across Cheshire East as part of our mission to make homelessness history.
To help us achieve this goal, we opened our brand-new office on Gainsborough Road, Crewe, in September.
The office is home to our Cheshire East Supported Housing and Floating Support teams, who support customers experiencing homelessness through rough sleeping or loss of tenancy.
The Supported Housing team works with people who experience difficulties in maintaining their current tenancies, which could lead to them becoming homeless.
Staff also work with customers to increase independent living skills and address other issues that may be present.
The Floating Support team visits customers in their own homes to offer support with tenancy sustainment.
Each customer has tailored one to one support to prevent tenancy breakdown which would lead to homelessness.
Team Leader Gill Murphy-Howe said: “It’s brilliant to be in our new office in Crewe as we’re now in a fantastic location to support our Cheshire East customers.

“We support people in a number of different ways, with everything from finding suitable accommodation, to mental health support, to developing the skills needed to live independently.”
Service Co-ordinator Charlotte Hopley added: “Our Floating Support and Supported Housing teams work very closely, so it’s great to have one base where we can all work together. It feels like we’re just one team, doing different jobs.”
